Get ready for it....

WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right, you heard it. How's that for an update? Hunter and I are so excited that we will be having a baby due sometime at the end of January. Without going into too many details, we shall just say that this little one is a miracle baby and a welcomed surprise. We have always talked about and planned for children one day, we just had no idea that it would happen at this point in our lives. But the Lord in His perfect timing has ordained for this little baby to come into the world at this exact time. We are thankful and grateful that we are both in a good place with our jobs and that we are settled into our home,have a great church family, etc. The timing is definitely right for us, although I'm a little nervous how our first 100 lb child will adjust to this new addition. I promise not to bore you (or at least try) with sappy, overly baby talk...but I do want to try to strike a balance between being open and sharing about this new journey but not giving too much information.

To show you guys that this is not a late April Fools' joke and that there is actually a little peanut (actually a Plum now :) ) in there, I will share our first picture.
