The past weekend, Mom and West came down to Jackson to deliver (finally!) our wedding present! They wanted to give us something that we could do together and that would be a gift that would continue to give over the years. (They are all about gifts to promote couple time and bond building activities, hence the Wii they gave us for Christmas) They knew about how much we LOVE our back yard, so they decided to get us a Big Green Egg
. Although neither of us has had any personal experience with one, we have several friends who have raved about them! We have heard that people not only like to grill on them, but they also like to make pizzas, casseroles, and even chocolate chip cookies on them (yum!).
Not only did we have a great time just Grillin and Chillin, the food turned out amazing! And to top it off, we played Wii bowling until 1:00am. It was so fun! I can't wait to have more good times with this new addition. Last night, Hunter grilled some chicken and zucchinis, which turned out to be delish!
We are so excited to try all kinds of food on this thing! Anyone is welcome to come over anytime to enjoy this with us!
