Want S'more??

Well, not too much updates from over the weekend in the Maynard household. Overall, we had a pretty slow weekend. It was so dang cold here, with nasty rain not cold enough to turn into snow. We couldn't tear ourselves away from the fireplace this weekend. We rented the movie Up on Friday, which was really cute and just a good, wholesome movie. I made homemade calzones and we just vegged in front of the fire. Saturday wasn't much different...I finished up a paper that was due and then made Red Beans and RIce. We watched Legends of the Fall...WORST. MOVIE. EVER. If you want to be depressed, watch it. Oh, yeah and I put up new curtains in our dinning room and a new roman shade up in the kitchen...gracias Madre. :) (Pictures to come later)

All this cold weather has spurred Hunt and I to come up with a new tradition. (Not a very healthy one...) But, we have loved making S'mores in our fireplace. It's so fun and makes us feel like kids again. Also, we recite the Sandlot scene every time!
