Hunter's First Day

I am so proud of my husband, not only because I adore him already, but also because today is his first day at his new JOB! We have been praying for over a year and a half for the Lord to open a new door in Hunter's life and in his perfect timing HE DID (of course He always does). I know that I am thrilled, but I know that Hunter is more thrilled. It's actually a really weird feeling...being trained to pick up on people's feelings and body language, and then not really knowing what all Hunter is feeling. I swear I asked him about 100 times this past weekend "So what are you feeling right now?"...

It's so easy to praise God in the easy times though...I have noticed during this whole process that it has been really easy to look to other people and how they are so happy in their jobs, knowing that Hunter has really been looking for something new. Ironically, Jesus Calling today reminds me, "Don't look for affirmation in the wrong places: your own evaluations, or those of other people. The only source of real affirmation is My unconditional Love". So awesome, and a reminder I unfortunately need everyday.

Here is my man in his new suit, ready to go! Proud little pup too :)



He will be working with Lipscomb and Pitts Insurance, in their Property and Casuality sales. We are so excited about this new journey!
